Sending your staff an initial heads up and hype email

We recommend sending all of your staff an email a day or two before the planned rollout date to introduce them to Hilight and give them a heads up that they will be receiving an email with their login information. 

Here's an email template that you can use to do so! Please adjust it however you see fit, but make sure you remind your staff not to delete the Welcome Email from us (many people think it's spam!).

Hi everyone, 

I wanted to give you a heads-up that we are going to be starting an exciting new program called Hilight!

Hilight is a tool to help see, share, and celebrate all of the amazing work that you all, our teachers and school staff, are doing every day. It is a super simple way for us to give shoutouts, share highlights, and capture the meaningful moments happening every period of every day. Here is Hilight’s website, if you want to check it out, and here are their training videos that only take 5 minutes to get you up and running.

Please look out for an email from Hilight coming soon. It will contain your login information and some instructions on how to get started. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see it.
