- You can now send a hilight to more than one person at once!
When you go to send a hilight on the Recognition tab, you can now select multiple people (across multiple schools in your district if applicable) within one hilight.
Each recipient will receive a point to spend in the rewards marketplace if rewards are enabled at your district. - You can now filter the Hilight feeds
Click on the new Filter button in the upper right corner of the Bulletin feeds
You can filter by date, core value, school (if applicable), and hilight recipient
You can use this to gain more insight into the hilights sent across your school or district! - You can now edit a hilight after sending it.
To edit your hilight after it's been sent, find your hilight on one of the feeds (probably easiest to find it on your Personal Feed), and then click on the edit icon in the upper right corner of the hilight.
This icon will only be visible for 24 hours after you've sent the hilight. If it's been more than 24 hours and you need to change the content of a hilight, you can reach out to the support team at support@hilightedu.com to do so.
Update the content of your hilight and click "Confirm". The recipient(s) will receive an email notification that you've updated the hilight.
- If your whole district is on Hilight, we've simplified sending a hilight to someone at another school in your district.
You no longer need to click on the “District” button when sending a hilight to someone at another school in your district. The drop down automatically populates with all of the staff across your district, with staff at your primary school or location listed first.
- Autoscrolling feeds for In-School Display Monitors
We’ve now made available a version of the Hilight Feeds that you can display on a tv or monitor in your hallways, faculty lounges, cafeterias etc. More information on the autoscrolling display can be found here! This is a great way to add more visibility into the amazing work that your staff are doing and the recognition that they are sharing with each other. - Coming soon! The Hilight mobile app will be available for download from the iOS and Google Play app stores soon!
Currently you can install the Hilight app on your mobile device by manually adding it to your homescreen (see how here), but soon you will also be able to download it directly from the mobile app store
